JUNIOR KOSHIKI KARATE-DO CHAMPIONSHIP & 21st. JAPAN OPEN KOSHIKI KARATE-DO CHAMPIONSHIP

There will be an "Open Karate-do Championship" in Tokyo, JAPAN on 8th.- 10th. March, 2002 for the members of KARATE -DO ACADEMY & Perak KOSHIKI Karate-do Association for the International Championships.  Interested please  contact Sensei Neoh Then Hock (016-5628596).

Demonstration and activities done by Karate-Do Academy

    Karate-Do Academy was invited by the Jabatan Belia & Sukan Negeri Perak (Department of Youth and Sports, Minister of Youth and Sports) for the promotion of karate martial art under the RAKAN MUDA/RAKAN WAJADIRI in the state of Perak on 31.12.1994. Rakan Muda/Rakan Wajadiri is a program to encourage youth to take up healthy activities such as martial arts.

    On 05.05.1995, Karate-Do Academy was the only martial art invited by the Jabatan Belia & Sukan Negeri Perak to give a public demonstration of Karate for the official opening of the National Athletic Championship at the Perak Stadium in front of the DYMM Paduka Seri Sultan Azlan Muhibbuddin Shah ibni Almarhum Sultan Yussuf Izzuddin Shah Ghafarullahu-lah.

    Karate-Do Academy again invited by the Jabatan Belia & Sukan Negeri Perak to give a public demonstration for the "Le Tour de Langkawi" at the Ipoh Padang on 03.03.1996. Karate-Do Academy is the only karate association to demonstrate.

    On 13.04.1997, Karate-Do Academy was invited to give a public demonstration at the Greentown Mall, Ipoh.

    The Association did participate in the "Asia-Pacific Open Koshiki Karate-do Championships" in Bandung, Indonesia on 28/07/2000 - 30/07/2000.  Sensei Neoh Then Hock was a 2nd. runner-up in the Male Individual Open Kata event.

    Other than the above, many invitation also received by the association to give public demos and participation in International Karate-do Championships likes in the "12th. World Koshiki Karate-Do Championships in Sydney, Australia" (from 8th. December, 2000 to 10th. December, 2000).  In the years, 1998, 1999 & 2000, Karate-Do Academy given a numerous demonstrations to schools because to encourage more students to get involved in school co-curriculums in karate martial arts.

1)    08/05/94: Inter schools Karate Championships at the Poi Lam High School, Ipoh.

2)    03/06/95 - 05/06/95: K.D.A. Centralize Training at the Poi Lam High School, Ipoh.  06/06/95: 2nd. Inter schools Karate Championships at the Poi Lam High School, Ipoh.

3)    18/08/96: RAKAN MUDA Karate Open Championships at the Poi Lam High School, Ipoh.

4)    22/06/97: 3rd. Inter schools Karate Championships at the Department of Youth and Sports, Ipoh.

5)    17/08/97: 2nd. RAKAN MUDA Karate Open Championships at the SRJK© Chung Tack, Ipoh.

6)    11/07/98: 4th. Inter schools Karate Championships at the SRJK© Bercham, Ipoh.  19/12/98: Karate-Do Academy with the Perak Physical Fitness Association organized the "Cardio MA" workshop.

7)    30/10/99: 5th. Inter schools Karate Championships at the SRJK(C) Sam Chai, Ipoh.

8)    09/07/2000: 6th. Perak Inter Schools Karate Open Championships at the SJK(C) Chung Tack, Kg. Simee, Ipoh.

9)    16/09/2001:  RAKAN MUDA Karate Open Championships at the SJK(C) Perak, Ipoh.
